The Incredible Egg and Carrot
This weekend, many of you may be celebrating Easter, which usually brings to mind images of baskets filled with chocolate bunnies, brightly colored eggs and other sweets.
To keep your family’s teeth healthy and bright, be sure to eat some of those beautifully decorated eggs! Eggs are excellent sources of Vitamin D, which means they help your body to absorb calcium to build and maintain healthy teeth.
And if you’re getting any carrots for the Easter bunny, be sure to chew on some yourself! Not only are carrots good for your vision, they’re also good for your teeth. The Vitamin A in carrots helps build tooth enamel, and chewing raw carrots will help cleanse your teeth.
